Basically, Radio Sagarmatha is a non-commercial community radio. It is a non-profit making entity. But we have to pay attention to generate resources, too. Given its nature, it has evolved as a popular vehicle for many of our advertisers. We have helped position many a products and services. Placing advertisement with Radio Sagarmatha is the least expensive choice. The underlying policy is advertisements are spaced out by 5 minutes something which ensures attention span of our listeners. This ensures commercial messages do not get lost in the din. Radio Sagarmatha is known for carrying adverts which promote healthy products while the same are not misleading to the listeners.

Although Radio Sagarmatha is essentially a non-commercial radio and a non-profit organization, we have had to rely on some form of commercial advertising to add to other sources of revenue, in order to sustain the station. Radio Sagarmatha offers a variety of advertising services for small businesses, cultural events promoters and community organizations, among others.

• 25% extra will be charged before & after news.
• 50% extra will be charged before BBC news.
• 25% extra will be charged for fixed time release.
• 25% extra will be charged for Saturday releases and sponsorships.
• 15% agency commission will be provided for agency releases.
• 50% extra for foreign products.
• Radio Sagarmatha will charge Rs.500/-per spot as production cost.
• Advance payment is a must.
• Spots & jingles not produced by Radio Sagarmatha will be subject to quality test.
• VAT 13%
